The Carpathian Equal Opportunities Scholarship Program has been running for fifteenth year was re-announced in 2020.
As to the call we were looking for disadvantaged students of higher education institutions in the Carpathian region who at the same time care for their communities and talented.
On September 28 2020, from many high-quality applications, Ádám Rostás was unanimously reselected as the scholarship holder of the Year 2020 by the Board of Directors of the Carpathian Foundation-Hungary.
Ádám, studies at Eszterházy Károly University to be a geography and history teacher, and won our scholarship for the fourth time. He carries out his ”In the region for the region” volunteer program at the Foundation, with the support of his mentor, the Executive Director of the Foundation.
We wish all applicants much success and hereby would like to thank all our private donors for making it possible to support this academic year with their monetary donations and 1% of their previous year's paid Hungarian personal income taxes given to support.
