Training on Early Childhood Development

On 23-24 September a two-day-long training was organized for the participants, staff, volunteers and experts of our „Building Capacities for Effective Early Childhood Development of Marginalized Roma in Hungary” program.

At the first phase of the program the main results and experience of partners, project promoters encountered int he first implementation period were shared among the participants. All supported organizations presented its project and work on field of early childhood development.

Challanges related to inclusion of target groups, keeping up motivation, cooperating with parents and social, education and heath institutions, services were discussed in details.

Éva Szomor, early childhood development expert, presented the different stages of the development of children and how children could be assessed in line with these milestones to participants of the training. Measuring impact of development of children and effective community development focused means were discussed as well.
