The King Baudouin Foundation, together with more international organization and communities – including Transnational Giving Europe Network – organize the closing event of the Spring of Philanthropy “Boost Philanthropy in Europe”.
The purpose of this European Philanthropy Day is to bring philanthropy in our society to the forefront and to show that philanthropy works in Europe. They want to discuss the opportunities and the threats for philanthropy in Europe and provide a platform for innovative ideas, new practices and wish to inspire European philanthropists, as well as other philanthropic.
‘‘Boost Philanthropy in Europe” will propose roundtables and inspiring keynote speeches from international guests of honour, Philanthropist Ronald Bruder and Ms Shirin Ebadi, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate as well as a keynote speech from Herman Van Rompuy, President Emeritus of the European Council, to conclude the day.
