38 million forints for early childhood development

We support the early childhood development of disadvantaged children with more than 38 million forints.

Since the establishment, the Carpathian Foundation has been a committed supporter of programs aimed at improving the quality of life of communities, families and children living in deep poverty, and pays special attention to the financial and professional support of non-governmental organizations with which it cooperates in partnership. Supporting the appropriate early childhood development of children living in poverty is a key strategic objective of our foundation.

The Building Capacities for Effective Early Childhood Development of Marginalized Roma in Hungary Program was renamed in 2021: Early Years Matter. Within the framework of the program which is running since 2018, the Board of Trustees of the Carpathian Foundation-Hungary invited 12 civil society organizations active in the North-Eastern Hungarian region in a new call for proposals in the autumn of 2021. In accordance with the decision made 29. December 2021, they will receive a non-refundable grant of more than 38 million forints.

Congratulations to the winning organizations, who will be notified soon about the terms and steps of the contract!
