Cooperation network for refugees in the Nyírség area
From our Carpathian Emergency Response Fund for Ukrainians,the "Let's Hang with Mum" Association received a grant of 1.500.000 HUF. One element of the project is to build a "Cooperation Network for Refugees in Nyíregyháza" in order to create a partnership of bodies, organizations, institutions and persons involved in the refugee issue and involved in the coordination. The first meeting took place at the end of August in the Nyírség Civil House. Their aim is to establish cooperation with social, educational, health and cultural services, institutions and actors available in and around Nyíregyháza to help refugees and disadvantaged families. Cooperation and exchange of experience are essential for effective assistance. The event provided an opportunity for all organizations to share the problems and obstacles they face in their work and to find solutions together. The online space would allow for weekly meetings, which would not be replaced by face-to-face meetings, but would be planned on a monthly basis.
