Interprofessional partnership for the youngest children

Within the framework of our Early Years Matter programme, we provide special financial and professional support and assistance to our partners in several municipalities to strengthen their cooperation with local and regional early childhood (public) services, institutions and professionals. These professionals are in daily contact with families with young children living in poverty, so good communication and cooperation between families and between them is essential to ensure the proper development of children. Our local partners, the Association of Village Builders Bükkszentmárton, the Pearl of Tarna Association and the Hungarian-Roma Association in Szomolya would like to be a kind of link, a bridge between professionals, services and families. To this end, several meetings have been held in recent months, attended by mayors, protection nurses, kindergarten and school teachers, and family support workers from the municipalities concerned. They started working together, planning and organizing joint programmes to be implemented in the coming period. We will also organize a joint study trip for them.
