The Hungarian Roma Association of Szomolya has been one of the supported organizations of the Early Years Matter Program for years. In 2022 they launched their SzocCafé, which will continue to meet monthly in 2023. At these events, the heads of the local kindergarten and school, the public health nurse and the mayor discuss local problems, look for solutions and organise actions and events together. In May, a parent-child day was held in the local kindergarten. With the support of Vanda Tátrai and Györgyné Lázár, they made and decorated wooden spoon puppets and drums together with children and their parents, and a magician from Eger entertained the audience.
