At the end of January, we organised a professional conference on successful early childhood interventions in deprived and excluded communities, entitled Early Years Matter. We heard a presentation by Dr Zsombor Farkas, Associate Professor at ELTE, on the situation of child poverty in Hungary, followed by a presentation by Fanni Salomé Csonka on the work of EMMA Association.
In January 2023, the Board of Directors decided to award grants to 3 NGOs from the Carpathian Emergency Response Fund for Ukrainians.

Our Foundation was invited to a roundtable discussion moderated by the co-chairs of the UNICEF Global Service Centre's Hungarian Technical Working Group in early December. The bilingual event was attended by psychologists, social workers and other professionals working with Ukrainian refugees in the field.
The two-round competition on nature and the environment has now ended, with the jury deciding on the artworks of the second round.
The competition was open to four categories: kindergarten, 1-2 graders, 3-4 graders, 5-8 graders. All first-round participants received a high value LEGO Playbox gift.
