Last week we had an open day at the kindergarten in Szomolya, which was supported by our foundation. Together with their parents, the future kindergartners attended an interactive fairy tale performance by the Babszem Jankó Children's Theatre, and while the parents discussed the role of fairy tales in children's development with the help of Vanda Tátrai, a fairy tale therapist, the children got to know the kindergarten teacher and the institution. The event was organised by the local association, the Hungarian Roma Association of Szomolya, in order to make it easier for families with young children to start kindergarten.
