Visit of experts from Slovakia

At the beginning of October, our sister foundation Carpathian Foundation-Slovakia organized a three-day best practice visit - for early childhood professionals from Slovakian NGOs -to visit Hungarian associations working in the same field. On the first day, they visited IndaHouse Hungary Association in Fügöd, one of the association's sites, where they met local professionals and learned about their work. Then they were welcomed by us and our professional partners in Eger, where the Hungarian early childhood education and care (ECEC) and our Early Years Matter Program were presented to them. The following morning, they visited the Sure Start Children's Home in Kerecsend, where the professional manager presented their activities. They also visited the XXI Century Roma Women's Association in Nyíregyháza, where they were given an insight into their ongoing project in Jósaváros. Finally, the group was hosted by representatives of the Somnakuno Roma Drom Women's Civic Association in Nagykálló, who work in a segregated area of Nagykálló.

We thank them for their visit and wish them good luck with their work!
