TGE's October newsletter was published

This project will engage international football players that are willing to donate 1% or more of their wages to the Common Goal Fund that is managed by the King Baudouin Foundation.  This Fund has been created by Streetfootballworld, and will support football-based projects that drive progress towards the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Thanks to the Transnational Giving Europe Network, donations will be tax effective for the players in their respective countries. º

At the 8th international conference of the European Research Network On Philanthropy, the Best Conference Award was awarded to Beth Breeze from Kent University and Pamala Wiepking from RSM Erasmus University for their paper entitled ‘Different Drivers. Exploring Employee Engagement in Corporate Philanthropy.’

The award, which is made possible by the Transnational Giving Europe network, comprises out of an Award Certificate and € 1000,-.

Practical Philanthropy Across Europe (PPE) is an informal gathering of the most ambitious and leading performers in the field of philanthropy and fundraising that has organized a yearly conference since 2015.

The goal of the yearly PPE conferences is an exchange of experience, ideas, inspiration and
qualified feedback.

The more than two hundred participants of the PPE are all on a senior management level
(Directors, Heads of Communication, Development and Funding), in leading scientific,
educational and cultural institutions across Europe.

The next conference will take place in Zachęta - National Gallery of Art in Warsaw, Poland, on the 18th of May 2018

The Trust’s vision is to ensure international recognition for Wigmore Hall as the pre-eminent recital hall for chamber and instrumental music, early music and song, and as a commissioning centre of excellence.
