Today, Denis Mukwege, a gynecologist helping victims of sexual violence in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Nadia Murad, a Yazidi rights activist and survivor of sexual slavery by Islamic State, won the 2018 Nobel Peace Prize. European donors can support his valuable work through TGE.

On 28 May 2018 – DAFNE, EFC and EVPA – held a joint, one-day “Philanthropy Scrum”. The event brought together 150 policymakers, foundations’ representatives and key stakeholders to explore “Co-creating a Single Market for Philanthropy”. The post-conference report is now available.

Swiss Philanthropy Foundation, together with Transnational Giving Europe invite you to the public panel on cross-border philanthropy that will be taking place in Geneva on October 17.

* Fondazione Lang Italia is organizing their annual Philanthropy Day. The sixth edition will be taking place in Milan, on October 25, focusing on tools that can increase philanthropy's impact.
